Echo Mickiewiczowskiego mesjanizmu w twórczości Ivana Mažuranicia / Odjek mesijanizma Adama Mickiewicza u djelu Ivana Mažuranića
Journal Title: Przekłady Literatur Słowiańskich - Year 2015, Vol 6, Issue 1
Abstract
Ivan Mažuranić was the first among the South Slavs to translate The Books of the Polish People and of the Polish Pilgrimage by Adam Mickiewicz, with the impact in his political brochure Croats and Hungarians. The knowledge of literary translations of the period contributes to the research of the Croatian‑Polish relationship during the long‑term endangerment of the national identities of both nations.
