ECHR JURISPRUDENCE ON PROTECTING THE PROPERTY INTERESTS OF AN INDIVIDUAL TO USE THE IMAGE, NAME, AND OTHER MEANS OF AN INDIVIDUALIZATION OF NATURAL PERSONS

Abstract
The article examines the ECHR jurisprudence on protecting the property interests of an individual to use the image, name, and other means of an individualization of natural persons. It has been established that the property interests of an individual to use the image, name, and other means of an individualization of natural persons, can be both an independent subject of protection or protected within the general possibility of a natural person to freely and at its own discretion determine his/her conduct in the area of private life. It is proved that the protection of such interests is the subject to the same limits and restrictions as the corresponding personal non-property right.
