Effect of Yttrium Oxide Impurities on the Structure and Properties of Metallic Hafnium
Journal Title: Фізика і хімія твердого тіла - Year 2016, Vol 17, Issue 2
Abstract
The influence of yttrium oxide impurity content of 0 to 0.4 wt.% on the structure and microhardness metal hafniuminvestigated. It is shown that grain size decreases and the Microhardness of hafnium increases monotonically with increasing content of impurities, while increasing Y2O3 content more than 0.3 wt.% is cracking material.

Distribution of Temperature Profiles in Nonstoichiometric SiOx Films by Laser Annealing of the Two Beams
Theoretical study of temperature distribution profiles in nonstoichiometric SiOx films by annealing two laser beams of equal intensity. Temperature distribution on the surface of the films SiOx, irradiated laser beams at...
Fragments From the History of the Invention of Ві2Те3 and its First Practical Uses
The paper presents an analysis of information on the research and use of materials on the basis of Bi2Те3, as a thermoelectric material. It was established that Bi2Те3, as a thermoelectric material, was first investigate...
Optical Absorption of Chalcogenide Glass Ga2S3-La2S3 Doped with Erbium
The glasses of the La2S3-Er2S3-Ga2S3 system were synthesized from the melted samples which where quenched in to the cold 25% solution of NaCl. Their optical absorption spectra were studied in the range of 1.2–2.9 eV at 8...
