ЕКСПЕРИМЕНТАЛЬНА ПЕРЕВІРКА ЕФЕКТИВНОСТІ МЕТОДИКИ ФОРМУВАННЯ СОЦІОКУЛЬТУРНОЇ КОМПЕТЕНТНОСТІ У МАЙБУТНІХ ВИКЛАДАЧІВ АНГЛІЙСЬКОЇ МОВИ ЗАСОБАМИ ПРОЕКТНОЇ РОБОТИ

Abstract
Методика формування соціокультурної компетентності у майбутніх викладачів англійської мови засобами проектної роботи була створена з метою оптимізації процесу навчання майбутнього викладача, який опосередковано через діяльність, яку він виконує, має стати взірцем для своїх студентів як інтелектуально розвинена особистість, цікавий співрозмовник для представників інших культур та своїх студентів. У статті описуються етапи проведення методичного експерименту, метою якого була перевірка ефективності запропонованої методики. За допомогою методів математичної статистики інтерпретовано результати експерименту, які підтверджують висунуту гіпотезу, що досягти високого рівня сформованості соціокультурної компетентності майбутніх викладачів англійської мови можна за умови обґрунтованого відбору соціокультурного матеріалу, застосування відповідної системи вправ і проектних завдань й оптимальної організації навчання. На основі отриманих даних до- та післяекспериментального зрізів щодо результативності двох варіантів методики, які відрізняються співвідношенням вправ на зняття труднощів навігації веб-сайтів, що містять статті-новини, та на зняття труднощів роботи над інформаційно-дослідницьким проектом, зроблено висновки, що перший варіант є ефективнішим, оскільки після експериментального навчання саме за першим варіантом майбутні викладачі англійської мови мають вищі показники рівня сформованості соціокультурної компетентності. .The training of future university teachers of English is aimed at forming intellectually developed knowledgeable personality who can be an example for their students and an interesting companion for representatives of other cultures. Thus, forming the socio-cultural competence is the essential part of future university teachers education. This requires the developed methodolody of forming their socio-cultural competence. Purpose. To formulate the experimental hypothesis, to describe the stages of the experiment, to summarize and interpret pre- and post experimental data. To determine the more effective variant of the methodology. Methods. Comparing two variants of the methodology which differ in the ratio of the exercises aimed at overcoming the difficulties of the news websites navigation and aimed at overcoming the difficulties of working on Information and Research type of project; interpreting the results of the experimental tests with the help of the mathematical statistics methods. Results. The suggested experimental hypothesis based on such factors as the criteria for socio-cultural learning materials selection, the effeciency of the developed system of exercises and project activities and the appropriate learning process model have been scientifically well-grounded. The variables and invariables are explained. After comparing the two variants of the developed methodology this study revealed that the first variant of the methodology turned out to be more effective as the future university teachers who were taught according to it showed the higher skills formation level of socio-cultural competence. Conclusion. All things considered, the experimental testing proves the effectiveness of the methodology of forming the socio-cultural competence of future university teachers of English through project work, as well as the effectiveness of the developed systems of exercises. The implementation of the methodology will provide a logical transfer to forming the other components of lingosociocultural competence through other types of project work.
