Ethical Principles and Governance Strategies for Meteorological Data Health Warning

Journal Title: Medicine and Philosophy - Year 2024, Vol 45, Issue 22

Abstract

Ethical issues in meteorological data health warning include deviation in warning effectiveness caused by forecast accuracy problems, differences in warning effectiveness caused by language barriers, format barriers, and follow-up obstacles in warning release, and limitations in warning effectiveness caused by delayed regulatory standards, lack of deep coordination among departments, and potential errors in forecast decision-making. Meteorological data health warning should adhere to the principle of "people-oriented", expand the coverage and timeliness of warning information, and enhance the accessibility and fairness of information dissemination. Adhering strictly to the principles of beneficence, fairness, public welfare, and responsibility, this approach emphasizes strengthening the "new quality productivity" of meteorological monitoring, accelerating technological innovation in meteorological data health warning, establishing a diversified dissemination system, enhancing the effectiveness of meteorological health outcomes, and achieving the advancement of disease prevention and control.
