European Court of Human Rights as a Regional Mechanism PROTECTION OF THE RIGHTS OF PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES: REVIEW OF NON-EXERCISE PRACTICE

Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of the case-law of the European Court of Human Rights relating to the protection of the rights and fundamental freedoms of persons with disabilities. The main focus is on the cases dealing with the most violated rights of persons with disabilities, including the right to life, to non-discrimination, to freedom from torture, to liberty and security of persons, to a fair trial, to respect for private and family life.
