EVALUATION OF UKRAINE NETWORK OF NATURAL RESERVE OBJECTS REPRESENTATIVENESS (BOTANICAL ASPECT)

Abstract
The purpose of publishing - assessment of the existing high rank protected areas network representativeness in various aspects and justification of recommendations for its optimization and expansion. The analysis of Ukraine protected areas has been performed by rare species presence, biocoenoses, biotopes, the completeness of representation and size in terms of different types of zoning, by the spatial and dynamic criteria (migration paths succession processes functioning of the ecological corridors). The results indicate that the current system of Ukraine protected areas is far from optimal and needs improvement according to modern requirements.
