GRAMATICALLY CORRECT SPEECH AS THE BASIS FOR PREVENTING COMMUNICATIVE DEVIANCE

Abstract

The article deals with the phenomenon of grammatical correctness of speech, its essence, content, and capacity of the concept; its role in the bilingual environment and place in the cultural development of the individual are determined. We distinguish two types of norms. The first one is determined and reconciled by the one rule for all expressions. Others are difficult to regulate by the rule and need the list of the generally used grammatical form, instead. The first norm violation happens when the somebody uses non-existence and unpractical language forms. It shows the ignorance of language. The second norm violation causes the lack of knowledge of the person in the peculiarity of the grammatical structure of language. These are the grammatical forms that are not adopted, codified, or put into dictionaries for the particular linguistic unit. When the person lives in the bilingual environment they pattern from the real speech of people and broadcasting. However, these speeches, as well as literature, might contain norm violations. The speaker has to know the «list» of the exceptions to the rule. The culture of speech dictionary should be used therefor. Grammatical mistakes of bilinguals in Ukrainian speech come from grammatical interference. It caused by: 1) the lack of differentiation of grammatical units in the Ukrainian language; 2) the transfer of the grammatical rules of the Russian language to Ukrainian. The issues of the culture of speech and its correctness are essentially mattered for schools and universities. It takes a long time for a person to acquire the communicative competitiveness and then to continue the self-improving throughout life.
