High Performance Shunt Active Power Filter: Design Consideration and Experimental Evaluation
Journal Title: Analele Universitatii "Eftimie Murgu" Resita. Fascicula de Inginerie - Year 2014, Vol 21, Issue 3
Abstract
The paper presents an active power filter with high performance, achieved by the authors. To obtain these performances some contributions were brought, both in the power part and in the control part, those are highlighted. First, some design considerations of interface filter are done. Next, the experimental setup is presented and a lot of experimental determinations for different conditions of voltage and load are shown. These and some indices calculated show that, indeed, the achieved filtering platform has very good performances.

Overview of the Orientation of Solar Generator Surfaces for Photovoltaic (PV) Systems
One of the most readily, espacialy for households as well as for higher installed power, renewable energy techniques to generate electrical power, are the solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. In the designing process of sola...
A Review on Natural Convection in Nanofluid Flow
The Heat transfer is performed in three forms including conduction, convection and radiation. Convection is one of the major modes which classifies into three categories: natural, mixed or forced convection. In recent ye...
Numerical Study of Shear Stress Around an Ideal Roughness
In EHD lubrication conditions the viscosity of the lubricants increases, occuring at high shear rates of plastic behavior. Previous researches showed that the shear stress in the film thickness of the lubricant may vary,...
The Convex Feasibility Problem and Mann-type Iteration
The algorithms for solving convex feasibility problems receive great attention for their extraordinary utility and broad applicability in many areas of classical mathematics and modern physical sciences, (for example: co...
Implementation of an Automatic System for the Monitoring of Start-up and Operating Regimes of the Cooling Water Installations of a Hydro Generator
The safe operation of a hydro generator depends on its thermal regime, the basic conditions being that the temperature in the stator winding fall within the limits of the insulation class. As the losses in copper depend...
