Overview of the Orientation of Solar Generator Surfaces for Photovoltaic (PV) Systems
Journal Title: Analele Universitatii "Eftimie Murgu" Resita. Fascicula de Inginerie - Year 2014, Vol 21, Issue 3
Abstract
One of the most readily, espacialy for households as well as for higher installed power, renewable energy techniques to generate electrical power, are the solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. In the designing process of solar photovoltaic systems, a certain number of factors have to be considered in order to be able to capture maximum of solar radiant energy, for a given location, as ambient conditions, PV cells and the entire necessary equipment. Considering these factors, it allows to gain the maximum power with the existing equipment for the given radiation.

Dynamic Research of the Flexible Wheel of a Double Harmonic Gear Transmission
The paper presents the results of a dynamic research of the flexible wheel of the double harmonic gear transmission, by determining the state of strain and stress of its wall, in cases the wheel is deformed by a mechanic...
Contributions to the Transient Study of an Electric Motor with Shorted Moving Coil
In this article is studied the transient regime of an electric motor with a shorted moving coil, into alternating current supplied. The authors present their contributions related to the conceiving, achieving and testing...
Study of the Magnetic Field of a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator by using the Finite Element Method
The study shows the numerical simulation of the magnetic field for a permanent magnet synchronous generator prototype. Through the study, the OPERA software environment, a program based on the numerical computation using...
Stochastic Analysis of Land Degradation on Edo State Agricultural System
Edo state, like many other states in Niger-Delta and Nigeria as a nation has resultant land and water degradation problems such as persistent oil spillage, erosion of arable land, sedimentation of dam and reservoirs. Thi...
Combined Effects of Hall Current and Chemical Reaction on Unsteady MHD Flow Past an Impulsively Started Vertical Plate with Constant Wall Temperature and Mass Diffusion
Combined effects of Hall current and chemical reaction on unsteady MHD flow past a vertical plate with constant wall temperature and mass diffusion is studied here. The fluid considered is electrically conducting and he...
