Abstract
In this article was examined the question of origin and development of the human rights and freedoms in criminal proceeding. It was made the analyze of statutory legal acts, which were existed during different historical periods, and which regulated the main human rights and freedoms in criminal proceeding, and which denoted phased form of their guarantee institute.
