CAUSING NON-PECUNIARY DAMAGE AS A BASIS FOR RECOGNITION OF THE JURIDICAL PERSON AS A VICTIM IN CRIMINAL PROCESS

Abstract
This article analyzes non-pecuniary damage as a basis for the recognition of the legal entity victims in criminal proceedings. The author notes that the current criminal procedural law basis for the recognition of the legal entity victims of crime causing it involves only property damage. This position is not always justified as a legal person crime can also be caused by non-property damage, including damage its reputation. In this regard, the author proposes to improve and provide Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine, along with damage to property, and reputation damage to the grounds for recognition of the legal entity victims. This position will facilitate opportunities for effective protection of violated rights crime entities.
