History of Quranic Dictionaries of Indian Subcontinent in Urdu Language

Abstract
The title of this article is “History of Quranic Dictionaries of Indian Subcontinent in Urdu Language”. As a student of Arabic Language, I always wanted to learn what Allah swt has taught us in His book and to fulfill this motive Quranic Dictionaries played a key role and their importance is certainly inevitable. In this article, I tried to collect all the information about Quranic Dictionaries which were written in Urdu language. In this discourse, I also tried to analyze the division and structure of their chapters, themes, approaches, styles and resources which were used by the authors in compilation of their books. I described a short life history of their authors too. I also mentioned a brief history of Quranic Dictionaries which were written in Arabic and what were the circumstances that enforced the people to write on this very topic. Indeed, I tried to use all the authentic and reliable resources and information to give the best knowledge in this article but it may have some mistakes, flaws and impediments. May Allah accept my endeavors Ameen.
