ইবনে খালদুনের অন্তর্দৃষ্টিপূর্ণ সমাজতাত্ত্বিক ধারণা : একটি বিশ্লেষণ |Insightful Sociological Ideas of Ibn Khaldūn : An Analysis

Abstract
This article primarily intends to elucidate the philosophy of Ibn Khaldun regarding the various issues inextricably connected with the society. Ibn Khalun, one of the most eminent Muslim scholars of the fourteenth Christian century, has inaugurated a new era in world history by authoring ‘Al-Muqaddima’. In this book he delineated the human history exclusively from a different perspective. Despite this book heralded a new scholarship in social sciences controversy exists whether he could be treated as the first exponent of social science. Outlining the general ideas of social science this article has spelt out the thoughts of Ibn Khaldun regarding society. This article has showed that though lots of work have been authored on the sociological thoughts of Ibn Khaldun most of them have basically focused on the theory of Asabiyyah advanced by him. Apart from the theory of Asabiyyah Al-Muqaddima also bears the testimony of unique ideas of Ibn Khaldun regarding social evolution, rise and decline of dynasties, division of civilization. সারসংক্ষেপ : সমাজ সংক্রান্ত বিষয়ে ইবনে খালদুনের দর্শন বিশ্লেষণই এ প্রবন্ধের মূল উদ্দেশ্য। খ্রিস্টীয় চতুর্দশ শতকের অন্যতম শ্রেষ্ঠ মুসলিম চিন্তাবিদ ইবনে খালদুন ‘আল-মুকাদ্দিমা’ রচনা করে বিশ্ব ইতিহাসে এক যুগান্তরকারী অধ্যায়ের সূচনা করেন। তিনি উক্ত গ্রন্থে সম্পূর্ণ ভিন্ন দৃষ্টিকোণ থেকে মানব ইতিহাস তুলে ধরেছেন। তাঁর রচিত এ গ্রন্থটি সমাজবিজ্ঞানের জ্ঞানের ধারায় নতুনত্বের সূচনা করলেও তাঁকে সমাজবিজ্ঞানের প্রথম প্রবক্তা হিসেবে আখ্যায়িত করা যাবে কিনা এ নিয়ে যথেষ্ট বিতর্ক রয়েছে। বর্ণনামূলক পদ্ধতিতে রচিত আলোচ্য প্রবন্ধে সমাজতত্ত্বের সাধারণ ধারণা প্রদানপূর্বক ইবনে খালদুূনের রচনায় প্রদত্ত সমাজ সম্পর্কিত ধারণা সম্পর্কে আলোচনা করা হয়েছে। প্রবন্ধ থেকে প্রমাণিত হয়েছে, তাঁর সমাজতাত্ত্বিক ধারণাসমূহ নিয়ে অনেক কাজ হলেও অধিকাংশ সমাজবিজ্ঞানীই অন্যান্য ধারণা থেকে আসাবিয়্যাহ্ তত্ত্বের প্রতি বিশেষ গুরুত¦ প্রদান করেছেন। আসাবিয়্যাহ্ ছাড়াও আল-মুকাদ্দিমায় সামাজিক বিবর্তন, রাজশক্তির উত্থান-পতন ও সভ্যতার বিভাজন ইত্যাদি সম্পর্কে ইবনে খালদুনের ব্যতিক্রমী দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি রয়েছে।
