Ignition temperature of gas combustion products of selected wood materials

Abstract
"Ignition temperaturę of gas combustion products of selected wood materials". The scope of the paper included experimental studies on the determination of ignition temperature of the gaseous products of combustion of some wood materials. Test consisted of heating the test sample of material (to 10 °C lower than the expected decomposition temperature) and of an attempt of ignition of evolved gases. For ignition temperature, the lowest temperature was adopted at which above the outlet of the core material a nondisappearing flame can be observed for at least 5 seconds. Analysis of the results of ignition temperature of the gaseous products of thermal decomposition indicates that the resulting values do not differ from those set for wood.
