In Memory of A.G. Medoev (dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the Caspian region researcher from the paleolithic to the present day)

Abstract
In 2019, we will celebrate the 85th anniversary of renowned archaeologist Alan Georgievich Medoev. He made an equally significant contribution to the study of the Stone Age of Kazakhstan, study of primeval art, reinterpretation of the history and significance of nomadic civilizations, identification of the phenomenon of fine arts and architecture of Mangystau. Of special significance is the role of A.G. Medoev in the formation of the national identity of the patriotic intelligentsia in 1960–1970.
