Abstract
Żyjemy w świecie intensywnych zmian i rozwoju gospodarczego oraz społecznego. Wraz z następującymi zmianami w technologiach wykorzystywanych w gospodarce następuje wzrost natężenia działań innowacyjnych podejmowanych przez przedsiębiorstwa oraz wzrost ich efektywności. Praca, którą podejmuje człowiek w zmieniającym się środowisku zyskuje nowe wymiary osobowe, społeczne, cywilizacyjne i kulturowe. Ponadto wykonywana jest nowymi metodami i z wykorzystaniem nowych technologii. Autor w swoich rozważaniach podjął próbę określenia innowacyjności oraz ukazania jej znaczenia w współczesnym społeczeństwie.
