Introduction of strategy of Japan’s ecological safety after World War II

Abstract

The article illuminated the issue of formation of strategy of ecological safety of Japan after World War II. Are considered and classified factors influencing environmental strategy of Japan to conduct its foreign policy. Normative framework of Japan and international organizations regarding environmental policy during the second half of the XX - XXI centuries. Analyzes the significant achievements of the Japanese government in the field of environmental protection. Traditionally much attention from the state is paid in Japan to nature protection activity of the state and the person. One of the first among developed countries it positioned a question of ecological safety of the territory as one of priorities of policy of ensuring national security. Now Japan is considerably distinguished from other developed countries in the field of ensuring ecological safety, actively is implemented not only in relation to own territory, but also in relation to other countries of the Pacific Rim. The priority attention to policy of ecological safety introduces the amendments and in a foreign policy of the country. During the post-war period of Tokyo in the diplomatic strategy traditionally staked on strengthening of the international authority of the country founded on its image as pacifistic the states. Positioning of ecology and development as central in the iplomatic agenda allows Japan to solve successfully the most important foreign policy problem of increase in a role in the solution of global world problems.
