INTUITIONISM AND DOXASTIC LOGIC

Abstract
The paper centers on the problem of the logical omniscience in doxastic logics. The aim of the paper is to propose some new ways for searching the alternative solution to this problem. These new alternatives are the new scientific elements of the paper. The results can be widely applied in formal epistemology and computer science. Doxastic logics are the family of logics that formalize psychological reasoning of the human agents. Logical omniscience con-sists in contradiction between the pure formal reasoning and psychological one. In pure formal reasoning knowing all the axioms and all the inference rules automatically means knowing all valid sentences which is obviously different for the psychological case. There are several ways to solve this problem proposed throughout the years including models of Kurt Konolige and Hector Levesque. Their minuses and pluses are seriously considered and a new model based on the intuitionistic elements is proposed. Intuitionistic ideas explored in details basing on the classical works of A.N. Kolmogorov and more recent of S.N. Artemov. Analogies between logical concepts and philosophical ideas of the analytic philosophy of mind are made. In the end the recent new formal system LP is considered as the proof that similar approach to the problems in formal logic is possible.
