Inventory control manual for a chemical production and commercialization company

Abstract

Chemical products production and marketing companies contribute to the industrial development of the country, through research, production, marketing of chemical products and the contribution of technical solutions that satisfy the needs of their customers in terms of quality and service, with a process of continuous improvement and complying with the standards in terms of industrial hygiene and safety. In order to optimize the company's processes, the researchers set themselves the objective of Designing an Inventory Control Manual for this type of organization, required for the activity of buying and selling goods or services, and thus guarantee the constant flow of the process of production and marketing. This research was developed under the deductive approach and is empirical, as a data collection instrument a survey consisting of 10closed questions is used, and they are addressed to the company's sellers, who were 40 in total, thus forming the sample population. Having as a result that 75% of the surveyed personnel do not know an inventory manual, 88% have not observed how to keep track of orders, however, 87% surveyed recognize that the company must have an inventory control manual to improve their processes of buying and selling goods and services
