Distance education through the use of information and communication technologies (TICS) used during the covid-19 pandemic

Abstract

The purpose of the following article is to evaluate the distance education modality through the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) used during the Covid-19 Pandemic, in the teaching-learning process of the Department of Statistics of the School of Business Administration and Public Accounting of the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences of the University of Carabobo. The research method used was quantitative, with a descriptive scope. The population under study was comprised of seven (7) teachers who teach the subject, obtaining as a result that the distance modality was a favorable tool in the educational approach during the COVID-19 pandemic, despite the fact that the teachers were moderately prepared. in the use of ICTs and did not have all the necessary technological resources for such purposes
