ЮРІЙ ФЕДЬКОВИЧ НА ПОЗВАХ ІЗ МОСКОВІЄЮ

Abstract
У статті проаналізовано антимосковський вектор життєво-творчих змагань Юрія Федьковича. Задля цього вказано на чинники, які зумовили вироблення в письменника різкого ставлення до галицько-буковинського москвофільства й московського режиму загалом, проаналізовано конкретні вияви такого ставлення в поетичній творчості, драматургії та публіцистиці. Опозиційна налаштованість Ю. Федьковича передбачала іноді крайній радикалізм, однак більше тяжіла до найсуворішого морального зганьблення. In the article the anti-Russian vector of Yuriy Fed’kovych life and creativity, first of all, his writer's form of expression has been analyzed. For that the reception of that issue by the official Soviet critics was considered and the factors that promoted the development of Y. Fed’kovych frankly negativist attitude to the Moscow regime were determined. At the same time, it was accentuated on Shevchenko’s influences and direct contacts with opposition-minded to Moscow Galician socio-cultural figures. Thus, the ideologization of feelings took place, the understanding of his own identity had been changing, not only as Hutsul, but also as Ukrainian. The main attention in the article is paid to the studying of works full of acute political, ideological, national, anti-Moscow content. That were the poem dedicated to Shevchenko, the journalistic article «Lest not be too late!», the true litigation to the imperial system and the Galician-Bukovynian Moscophiles, and works from the last period of activity. That was about journalistic pathos in a number of poetry, the image of Mazepa as a great adherent of the Ukrainian «independent state without the patronizing by Moskal or Lakh» in the original translation of the drama by R. Gottshal «Mazepa», as well as about the original tragedy «Khmelnytskyi» by Y. Fed’kovych. The protagonist of that work incredibly suffered from the decision to make an alliance with Moscovia. It was emphasized that the author's opposition to the imperial regime was sometimes extremely radical, but belonged in a substantial way to the most severe moral indignation. In terms of latitude, intensity and originality in the expression of such feelings, Fed’kovych didn’t have equal in all of the then Ukrainian lands, that were part of Austrian Empire. The documentary evidence of a censorship by Russia on the distribution of the first volume of Fed’kovych’s works published by Ivan Franko in Lviv in 1902 were presented. Thus, the poetry placed there was politically functional and even historically necessary. The article also pointed out the prospects of the studied topic and its acute relevance for contemporary times.
