Abstract
Among the most important problems of the modern preaching we can list: – Phonetic problems – Expansion of colloquial language in preaching – Domination of theological jargon in preaching. Every preacher should remember that the mastery in the use of the spoken and written language is essential to be a success, not only in the communication but, what even more important, in the educational fi eld. Th e permanent development and actualization of preacher knowledge in the fi eld of linguistic seems to be indispensable to reach this mastery. It is even more important since the improvement in the fi eld of preaching is always combined with the development of the spiritual life of the preacher.
