LABORATORY INVESTIGATIONS OF GEOTEXTILES AND THEIR IMPLEMENTATION

Abstract
Geotextiles designed for industrial settling tanks) for the coastal zone) river banks or use in the soil) are subjected to the constant action of various environments, and their technical parameters are systematically tested over increasing periods of time. The article discusses the results of change of technic parameters of geotextiles in different environments. Based on the results of the investigations) some materials have been selected for experimental field works: coastal and river bank protection and draining systems with and without screens in industrial settling tanks. Examples of design solutions and realizations are presented.
