LABORATORY STAND FOR TESTS OF SLIDE BEARINGS BASED ON HEAT BALANCE
Journal Title: Tribologia - Year 2012, Vol 241, Issue 1
Abstract
In the paper design of the laboratory test stand for slide bearings tests based on heat balance is presented. The description of friction torque and temperature measurement systems installed on the stand are given. The stand enables realization of any chosen material combination in sliding cooperation. There is possibility of energetic determination of friction coefficient in the bush and pivot contact.

ANALYSIS OF THE PROCESS OF WEAR OF A BRONZE–ALLOY CAST IRON KINEMATIC PAIR
The paper presents the results of tests on the wear of a bronze–alloy cast iron kinematic pair. Such a kinematic pair is applied in the feed mechanisms (worm – worm rack) of heavy machine tools. The experiment was conduc...
THE EFFECT OF CONSTRAINT CONDITIONS ON THE CONTACT PRESSURE DISTRIBUTION OF MULTI-DISC FRICTION CLUTCHES
High thermal stresses generated between the contact surfaces in a clutch system, e.g., multi-disc friction clutch (back plate, clutch discs, separators, and piston), due to the friction heat generated during the slipping...
THE EVALUATION OF THE ABRASIVE WEAR OF THE TI13Nb13ZR ALLOY IMPLANTED BY NITROGEN IONS FOR FRICTION COMPONENTS OF THE HIP JOINT ENDOPROSTHESES
Due to social needs, and especially the growing demand for the hip and knee prostheses and taking into account the fact that the tribological processes play a leading role in the loss of the stability of orthopaedic pros...
MEASURES OF INTERACTION IN AFM IMAGES OF FRICTION AREA
The article is a continuation of papers [L. 1]. This describe a fragment of results of the analysis of the relation of the: tribological proprieties and topography above 5500 images from AFM measurement. The present arti...
