LE RELATEUR LƐ̀ EN KOULANGO : ETUDE DE QUELQUES RÔLES SYNTAXIQUES

Abstract
Cette étude décrit le rôle syntaxique du relateur lɛ̀ en koulango, langue gur de la grande famille Niger-Congo. Dans cette langue, le relateur lɛ̀ peut assumer les fonctions de repérage et de cordonnant. En tant qu’opérateur de repérage, lɛ̀ établit une relation de subordination entre proposition principale et proposition subordonnée. Dans son fonctionnement syntaxique, le relateur lɛ̀ induit différentes valeurs sémantiques, temporelles, consécutives et causales. Cette polyfonctionnalité du morphème grammatical lɛ̀, que notre étude met en évidence, n’est pas surprenante dans un modèle ostensif inférentiel du fonctionnement du langage.
