Legal protection of utility models in some countries in Europe: a comparative aspect.

Abstract
In the European Union, there are no unified international acts regulating the protection of utility models, so national legislation in each of the member states of the organization is in this area. Currently, the legal protec- tion of utility models is foreseen only in 17 EU states. The rights to utility models are not protected in Belgium, the UK, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Sweden, etc.
