Lichens of nonspecific anthropogenic substrates in the Bieszczady National Park

Journal Title: Roczniki Bieszczadzkie - Year 2013, Vol 21, Issue 1

Abstract

The paper presents localities of 36 lichen species growing on nonspecific anthropogenic substrates such as: iron, tyres, paint, tarmac, plastic, strings, and abandoned piles of artificial fertilizers. Most of the species are common in typical habitats, whereas Sarcosagium campestre, Steinia geophana and Verrucaria xyloxena recorded on piles of fertilizers are very rare in the area of the Park
