Linguo-cognitive interpretation of narrative tension

Abstract
This article deals with linguo-cognitive aspects of narrative tension. This phenomenon is conceptualized as a complex multi-layered construal, characterized by its cognitive and affective nature and represented by the combination of three different kinds of tension. Special attention is given to the analysis of intellective and emotive triggers, inducing narrative tension.
