Abstract
The article consists of methods for obtaining transient equations of a thermocouple model, which is described by a linear differential equation of the first order, with known input temperature signals. The equation for the thermocouple transient response is obtained for various initial conditions and input signal delay. The thermocouple reaction equation for a linearly increasing input signal is obtained. Also, the thermocouple reaction equations for input signals are obtained, which differ from the standard ones. The obtaining of dynamic models of thermocouples on the basis of an analytical solution of the equations of heat exchange processes is associated with significant difficulties in solving systems of partial differential equations. Therefore, in practice, the dynamic model of thermocouples is determined by experimental methods for the identification of dynamic characteristics. From the point of view of practical implementation it is expedient to carry out the identification of the thermocouple by its reaction to the input signal in the form of a step temperature change. These equations are used to compensate thermal inertia of the thermocouple while restoring the actual temperature from thermo-EMF of the thermocouple. The equation for the thermocouple reaction to an arbitrary waveform is obtained.
