МЕТА І ЗМІСТ ФОРМУВАННЯ У МАЙБУТНІХ ФАХІВЦІВ З ХАРЧОВИХ ТЕХНОЛОГІЙ АНГЛОМОВНИХ РЕЦЕПТИВНИХ КОМУНІКАТИВНИХ КОМПЕТЕНТНОСТЕЙ

Abstract
У статті висвітлено мету формування англомовних рецептивних комунікативних компетентностей у майбутніх фахівців з харчових технологій. Розкрито поняття іншомовної комунікативної компетентності та складники англомовних рецептивних комунікативних компетентностей інженера-технолога харчової промисловості: лінгвістична, лінгвосоціокультурна, прагматична та професійна компетентності. Розглянуто сучасні підходи до визначення змісту навчання англійської мови для професійного спілкування, котрий характеризується предметним та процесуальним аспектами. Конкретизовано зміст формування у майбутніх фахівців з харчових технологій англомовних рецептивних комунікативних компетентностей на основі аналізу Загальноєвропейських Рекомендацій з мовної освіти, Програми з англійської мови для професійного спілкування, освітньо-кваліфікаційної характеристики, освітньо-професійної програми підготовки бакалаврів напряму “Харчові технології та інженерія”, а також анкетування 200 фахівців, котрі працюють у сфері харчової промисловості у провідних науково-освітніх закладах та підприємствах України. Teaching English for Specific Purposes (ESP) assumes developing learners' communicative competence, which will allow them to establish and extend professional contacts, expand and deepen knowledge in professional and academic environment. Receptive communicative competence as a part of general communicative competence is seen as highly benefiсial to students majoring in Food technology and engineering. Purpose. The purpose of the study is to establish the objective for developing English receptive communicative competence of students majoring in Food Technology and Engineering; to determine modern approaches to the content selection, and its basic components. Results.The objective for developing English receptive communicative competence of bachelor students majoring in Food Technology and Engineering is the organisation of interconnected teaching of ESP reading and listening via multimedia at Vantage Professional – B2 level according to Common European Framework of References (CEFR). The analysed approaches to the content selection are characterised by distinguishing subject and procedural aspects. The content selection has made it possible to differentiate the components of both aspects of the content for developing English receptive communicative competence, namely linguistic, sociolinguistic, and pragmatic one. These components were determined by analysing CEFR, ESP National Curriculum for Universities, educational qualification characteristics, educational and vocational programs for bachelors in “Food Technologies and Engineering” and questioning of 200 experts who work in the food industry at the leading scientific and educational institutions as well as national and multinational enterprises in Ukraine. Conclusion. The research indicates that the most important professional skills for food technologists are the ability to read professional texts, letters, and instructions; to listen to reports, presentations, job instructions; make oral and written proposals; write reports, records, and laboratory notebooks. Hence, we conclude that the major skills for food technologists are receptive communicative ones. Major types of written and oral texts are pragmatic and publicist ones.
