METHODOLOGY AND INDICATORS OF THE PROCESS OF FORMATION AND USE OF LAND-RESOURCE POTENTIAL OF RURAL TERRITORIES

Abstract
This article reflects the methodology and indicators of the evaluation of the processes of formation and use of land-resource potential of rural territories. It was revealed that the rational use of the land-resource potential of rural territories and their protection should promote maximum conservation of natural properties of land resources, taking into account the factors of constraints and encumbrances on their use. It is substantiated that the monetary valuation of land is one of the definitions of the ecological and economic assessment of agricultural land and is based on the use of methodological approaches to the assessment of the soil cover of the territory, as well as the comprehensive study of the socioeconomic value of land as the main means of production, the basis for the placement of productive forces. The use of land-resource potential of rural territories at the appropriate levels is analyzed, namely: micro-level (mainly represented by agricultural enterprises) and meso-level. Proposals, ways and methods for improving the use of land-resource potential of rural territories of Ukraine were offered. According to the results of the research, pro-posals were elaborated on the directions of the state land policy in the context of ensuring food security of Ukraine
