Abstract
One of the greatest economists of the twentieth century was Milton Friedman. His greatest contribution to economic theory and methodology, for which he was awarded the Nobel Prize in 1976. On the basis of the quantity theory of money has created a new economic doctrine - monetarism. (original abstract)
