Monitoring System Dynamic Regimes with VariableReluctance Synchronous Motors
Journal Title: Analele Universitatii "Eftimie Murgu" Resita. Fascicula de Inginerie - Year 2014, Vol 21, Issue 3
Abstract
This paper will present an overview of how can we use a data acquisition (DAQ) device to quickly and easily acquire and present the data of dynamic regimes of variable reluctance synchronous motors. The described monitoring system is built from two principal parts: hardware component (LEMs transducer for measurement voltages and currents, supply voltage, elements for signals conditioning and start command, USB multifunction I/O module); software component based on the industry standard Lab VIEW graphical development environment. The command for synchronization of start acquisition and start motor is on the front panel of data acquisition virtual instrument. The values of da-ta acquisition are displayed numerically and graphically.

Sinc Function based Interpolation Method to Accurate Evaluate the Natural Frequencies
Due to leakage phenomena the frequencies and amplitude of the vibration signals given by the sinc function are not indicated correctly. There are interpolation methods that solve the problem of frequency evaluation but w...

Automated Measurement for Sensitivity Analysis of Runoff-Sediment Load at Varying Surface Gradients
Direct measurement of surface runoff is often associated with errors and inaccuracies which results to unreliable hydrological data. An automatic Runoff-meter using tipping buckets arrangement calibrated to tip 0.14 lit...
Analysis of Tensile Strength of Bamboo Reinforced Polyester Composite
Nigerian grown species of bamboo called bambusa vulgaris which was examined to analyze its tensile strength. The fibre characteristics and tensile strength were investigated at three different fibre lengths and fibre loa...
Simple and Multi-collision of an Ellipsoid with Planar Surfaces. Part II: Example
This paper is a complementary one for our previous paper [25]. The collision of the ellipsoid is considered to take place with the main planes of the reference system. In our simulation we obtain the following results: n...
