MOTIVATION IN TEACHING/ LEARNING FOREIGN LANGUAGE

Abstract
This scientific work analyses motivation concept. The author examines its role in teaching/learning a foreign language (FL). Motivation is characterized as a rapid and dynamic process and its types (integrated/instrumental) – as interdependent. A close interaction between motivation and training performance is determined. According to the author's belief integrated motivation is more important than instrumental, as it provides efficiency in learning FL for a long period.
