Niezawodność pracy sieci trakcyjnej a nowe rozwiązania konstrukcyjne

Abstract

This article describes the basic structural elements of railway traction overhead contact line. These elements are associated with characteristic contact line failures. The causes of the damage and their consequences are classified. Almost every damage to the overhead catenary causes a break in its operation and so its reliability is falling. In order to avoid such occurrences, it is necessary to seek technical and organizational solutions so that the number of failures can be minimized (if not completely eliminated) and the reliability of its work will be increased. Material engineering and the introduction of new construction and materials can be used for this purpose. It is also important to introduce modern measuring systems for overhead catenary diagnostics. The article presents several such solutions that are put into operation and under observation. It can be used to redefine parameters of proper operation of the overhead catenary, resulting in greater reliability of its operation.
