Noise Attenuation by Using Special Shape Robber Panel
Journal Title: Romanian Journal of Acoustics and Vibration - Year 2010, Vol 7, Issue 1
Abstract
Within the last few years, concern about the protection of the environment has grown rapidly as it has become generally recognized that the steady rise in pollution of all kinds cannot be allowed to continue indefinitely. The aim of this paper is to give a good solution for reducing the noise level. Environmental impact studies, design of noise mitigation to reduce environmental impact are done. The experimental measurements are compared with predetermined criteria in order to judge its acceptability.

Random vibrations of Duffing oscillator with nonlinear elastic characteristic of exponential type
We present a method for estimating the power spectral density of the stationary response of Duffing oscillator with nonlinear elastic force of exponential type. The method is based on the idea that a nonlinear system may...
Ultrasonic Attenuation and Velocity in Steel Standard Reference Blocks
In this paper, using two sets of reference steel blocks (area-amplitude and distance-amplitude) to investigate a modified method to verify the linearity of the system of instruments used in the ultrasonic inspection. The...
On Nonlinear Computational Assessments of Passive Elastomeric Elements for Vibration Isolation
The area of this study has framed by the passive isolation of the sensitive embedded systems against shocks and vibration due to various technological equipments. This work deals with computational behavior and nonlinear...
MODERN METHODS FOR NOISE CONTROL
Noise can be defined as unwanted sound. There are many cases and applications that reducing noise level is of great importance. Loss of hearing is only one of the effects of continuous exposure to excessive noise levels....
On the Seismic Cloaking
Geometric transformations are strongly sustained by manufacture of auxetic materials based on the pore size reduction through radial compression molds. In addition, geometric transformations underlie the development of s...
