NORMATIVE AND LEGAL SUPPORT OF PRIMARY SCHOOLS IN UKRAINE (1950S OF THE 20TH CENTURY)

Abstract
The article analyzes the key legal documents that influenced the development of elementary education in the 1950’s. The key points and peculiarities of each document that directed the work of elementary schools were highlighted and described. The author compares some aspects of the development of elementary education of the studied period with the work of modern elementary schools.
