ORGANIZATION OF THE SYSTEM OF SCHOOL PRIMARY EDUCATION IN HUN- GARY (1990-S – BEGINNING OF THE XXI CENTURY)

Abstract
The article deals with the study of some problems of the development of the system of school primary education of Hungary in the period of 1990-s – beginning of the XXI century. Having analyzed the length of education in primary school and the age at which children start school, as well as the time spent studying in the school environment (the number of academic hours per year), by the example of Hungary. It is generalized that in Hungary after the processes of reorganization in the 1990-s there was a lack of the unified state policy, which eventually led to the changes in the system of education at the local level, where the diversity of educa- tional institutions’ structures arose.
