PAMÄTE KULTÚRNEJ KRAJINY AKO NÁSTROJE JEJ HODNOTENIA
Journal Title: FOLIA GEOGRAPHICA - Year 2013, Vol 50, Issue 2
Abstract
Cultural landscape is the legacy and product of long-term land use from our ancestors and their relationship to natural assets and historical conditions (stages) of landscape. Identification of developmental stages, landscape memory layers, also makes it possible to assess the relationship of humans to landscape in the context of correct possibilities and proposals of further development. Suitable tools of assessment include the documents of natural-spatial conditions (geoeco - logical memory) and historical ways of land use. The aim of this paper is to point to the meaning of time-spatial records (documents) concerning the development of cultural landscape for the assessment of spatial organisation, diversity, stability (persistence) of land use, ecological stability, character of changes and human im - pacts on landscape in selected regions (districts Skalica and Prešov).
