Peculiarities of рH-Monitoring Indices in Patients with Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease Combined with Oddi’s Sphincter Dysfunction
Journal Title: Гастроентерологія - Year 2015, Vol 4, Issue 58
Abstract
This article is devoted to the results of the research of comorbid pathologies such as gastroesophageal reflux disease and Oddi’s sphincter dysfunction. It was shown that pH-monitoring indices in the distal esophagus correlated directly with clinical manifestation of gastroesophageal reflux disease. It was also proved that any changes of Oddi’s sphincter tonus regardless of their character influenced negatively gastroesophageal reflux disease worsening its course.
