Peculiarities of Social Environment in the Context of Human Development

Abstract
The article examines the social environment through the prism of demotivative factors. The research conducted by the author has found out the differences in world perception and attitude to values by Ukrainians caused by significant territorial and regional peculiarities. Defining of further priorities of human development was based on the peculiarities of the course of social processes in the Ukrainian regions. The emphasis is focused on significant territorial differences according to individual characteristics. The social environment index of regional distribution has been introduced. The priority directions for improving the state of social environment have been identified concerning regional and territorial peculiarities; possible ways for solutions of discovered problems have been introduced.
