PEDAGOGICAL CONDITIONS FACILITATING THE FORMATION OF FUTURE SOFTWARE ENGINEERS’ READINESS TO USE DISTANCE EDUCATION TECHNOLOGIES

Abstract
The article is dedicated to the description of the model with the help of which realization of the pedagogical con- ditions on shaping readiness of future software engineers to use distance education technologies in their professional activities was carried out. Being offered by the author, the structural-functional model of shaping readiness of future software engineers to implement distance education technologies in oncoming professional activities was developed on the basis of the conducted theoretical research in the sphere of pedagogical modeling and the results of the summative stage diag- nostics. The given model consists of three main sections: the objective section, organization and informative/content sec- tion and analytical-resultant section. The objective section contains the main objective of the conducted pedagogical experiment, i.e. shaping readi- ness of future software engineers to implement distance education technologies in their professional activities. The given objective stipulated for the main body of the organization and information/content section. In particular, there were pointed out those skills which the students had to gain in the process of the pedagogical experiment, as well as the forms used, methods and teaching tools. Moreover, the second section contains the main stages according to which the practical realization of the designated pedagogical conditions was carried out. During the initial informa- tive stage there were conducted some pedagogical activities aimed at activation of the motivationally reflexive activ- ities of students concerning the usage of distance education technologies. The second stage, the so-called content- algorithmic stage, implied providing the students with the system of knowledge and skills necessary for the use of distance education technologies. The students’ involvement in the use of distance education technologies within the academic activity organization and for the development of learning and teaching materials of the remote support of disciplines, as well as immersion of the students into distance education software development with the help of in- tersubject communication were carried out during the third stage of the pedagogical experiment (organization and constructional stage). To crown it all, shaping readiness of future software engineers to use distance education technologies in oncom- ing professional activities turned out to be a complex process, in the framework of which it was necessary both to cover the main theoretical issues and provide the students with the necessary conditions for them to be able to apply the knowledge gained in practice. The analytical-resultant section of the represented model contains the main structural components the studied readiness shaping of which becomes possible according to the results of the practical realization of the described pedagogical conditions. This section also deals with possible results of the pedagogical experiment aimed at shaping readiness of future software engineers to use distance education technologies in oncoming professional activities, namely, sufficient, intermediate, low readiness levels.
