Penerimaan Bahasa Melayu Sebagai Bahasa Kedua Dalam Kalangan Murid Berbangsa Bajau Khairul Nizam Bin Mohamed Zuki

Abstract

This study is conducted to obtain information about interest, attitude and motivate in the learning of Malay language in a primary school. This study aims to investigate the role of the Malay language in increasing students’ interest, attitude, and motivate towards the learning of second languages. This is a case study which uses a qualitatif approach. 3 students have been selected purposefully as volunteers for this study. The participants selected are Year 4 students from the same school. The instruments used in this study are observation, interview and survey. The observation is conducted to obtain information about the students’ attidute in learning Malay language. The interview strategies used to observed the interest in learning Malay language and survey’s instrument to obtain the motivated of students in second languages learning.
