ПІДСИСТЕМА ВПРАВ ДЛЯ НАВЧАННЯ УСНОГО ДВОСТОРОННЬОГО ПЕРЕКЛАДУ МІЖГАЛУЗЕВОЇ ТЕРМІНОЛОГІЇ НА БАЗІ ДИСТАНЦІЙНОГО КУРСУ

Abstract
Current educational trends require students to be able to work independently. However, the existing traditional learning system is still teacher-centered, leading to the situation where students are passive learners who only need to understand and remember information. An e-learning course integrated into the traditional learning system can help facilitate the formation of the translation competence in bilateral interpretation and autonomous learning skills. The question of creating an optimal system of exercises for the formation of professional competence of the future interpreter is a challenging task in both theoretical and practical terms. Purpose. To create and substantiate the subsystem of exercises to develop and improve the skills of bilateral interpretation using the interdisciplinary terminology based on the Moodle learning platform. Methods. A balanced student-centered approach applying the e-learning course to help students acquire and develop the skills of bilateral interpretation using the interdisciplinary terminology considering the stress factor typical of the real interpreting situations. Results. The designed subsystem of exercises includes three stages: preparatory, training, and practical. At the preparatory stage, students master the basic interpreting methods improving their memory capacity, reaction speed and attention. At the training stage, they learn the interdisciplinary terminology in micro and macro context, developing their interpreting skills. At the practical stage, they improve their interpreting skills in real interpreting situations. Conclusion. Summarizing the above stated, the developed subsystem covers various types of exercises according to the criteria of the linguistic context and the level of assessment both forming the lexical and grammatical language skills and the dialogic communication skills in micro and macro contexts, as well as developing and improving the bilateral interpretation skills.
