Political and economic dimension Russian influence on Donbass (1991-2013)

Abstract
The exogenous influence of Russia on the political and economic sphere of Donbass during 1991–2013 is analyzed. It is proved that the influence on the political sphere was miserable, since Ukraine did not enter any integration project that was developed and implemented by Russia, and the population of Donbass was more interested in such issues as language, culture, history. It is shown that there was no purposeful exogenous influence in the economic sphere in Donbas, as the border regions of the two states cooperated in the context of interregional and cross-border cooperation, which is a common practice in Europe.
