Stress is being implicated as an important etiological factor for many diseases including pregnancy complications. Database were searched using the terms yoga and pregnancy. The findings of various studies indicated that yoga intervention resulted in stress reduction, lower incidence of pregnancy complications and lower level of pain and better labour outcomes.
