Potentials of the programs of general physical geography for environmental education towards danger, vulnerability and risk of natural disasters

Abstract
The aim of this paper is to assessment the potentials of physical geography's study programs for environmental training in danger, vulnerability and risk's studies. In the process of environmental training of the students who are majoring at Biologygeography, the discipline physical geography presents potentials for the treatment of problems related to danger, vulnerability and risk, through its contents it is contributed to prepare the student in this important theme. The work is the result of several years of experience demonstrating the need to prepare citizens to cope with natural dangers that are exposed to the general population. It has been taken into account its importance for environmental and related to it, it is offered a set of suggestions that consider environmental education as an important topic for reflection.
