Prental Diagnosis of Sacrococcygeal Teatoma

Abstract
Sacrococcygeal teratoma is a germ cell neoplasm and the most common tumour of fetus. We present a case of prenatally detected sacrococcygeal teratoma with hydrops fetalis using Ultrasound and MRI. The varied imaging appearances of teratoma and prognostic factors have been discussed. Ultrasound remains the method of choice for fetal evaluation, however MRI plays an important role in determining the size, content and extent of lesion which play a significant role in prognosis.
