Present and Future Trends in the Execution of Electric Wiring for the Automotive Industry
Journal Title: Robotica & Management - Year 2018, Vol 23, Issue 2
Abstract
A wire harness is a support for transferring signals or electricity. Commonly used in various branches of mechanical engineering, wiring offers more advantages than free cords and cables, that is why its rate in the automobile industry is more than 30% of the total production of cables. The paper deals with the current and future aspects regarding the manufacturing of harnesses for the automotive industry.

New Planar Mechanisms for the Legs of Quadruped Mobile Robots
This paper presents two new kinematic schemes of articulated planar mechanisms used as the leg of a quadruped mobile robot. These mechanisms consist of 5 mobile kinematic elements, as compared to the Jansen mechanism, wh...
Characterization of Rubbers from Spherical Punch - Plate Indentation Tests
Rubber plates with different compositions and hardness were tested by continuous indentation, using a spherical punch and hysteretic phenomenon was evidenced. The experimental data interpolation with polynomial function...
Feedback Control Design for a Walking Athlete Robot
In the paper, authors generalized the dynamic model of an athlete robot with elastic legs through Lagrange method. Then, a feed-back controller was designed to control the robot through a step-walking. The research just...
Experimental Investigation on the Positioning Accuracy of the Translation Module of a 6-DOF Industrial Robot
The paper presents an experimental investigation regarding the positioning accuracy and kinematical parameters of the base translation module of a 6-DOF industrial robot. The positioning error of the translation module w...
Locomotion Systems for Search and Rescue Robots
In the first part of the paper the authors present some aspects regarding search and rescue robots, factors that might influence their design process and they are proposing several locomotion systems. The second part of...
